The GoVertical Startup Creation is joint collaboration between TiE Seattle and Madrona Venture Labs. The workshop brings together over 50 experienced business professionals, software developers and data scientists to work on a variety of new startup ideas and concepts over a two week period. The teams get to pitch their ideas to a judging panel consisting of distinguished entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. The top teams are then mentored by TiE Seattle and Madrona Venture Labs to turn their ideas into reality.
TiE Entrepreneur Institute
The TiE Entrepreneur Institute is a program by TiE Seattle to help aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs understand the fundamentals of building and launching a startup from successful entrepreneurs, seasoned executives, and domain experts in interactive sessions. The TiE Entrepreneur Institute sessions cover a wide range of topics such as ideation, fundraising, developing a Go-to-market strategy, building a sales force and protecting your intellectual property.
